Is there pain during or after a Jet Plasma treatment?
No! You may feel some warmth, but there is no pain during or after the treatment. You may have some slight redness and your skin may feel tight, but there is no peeling or swelling.
What should I do before a Jet Plasma treatment?
Avoid Botox (or other botulinum toxin injection) and filler products for at least two weeks before receiving Jet. Consider coming to your appointment with freshly cleansed skin, or include a pampering facial along with your Jet Plasma treatment.
What should I do after a Jet Plasma treatment?
Immediately after your session, your practitioner will apply a finishing serum, but you will not apply anything else to the skin for 12 hours, including cleaners, toners, serums, acids, sunscreen or makeup. Also, avoid exercise, saunas and steam for 12 hours.
How many Jet Plasma sessions will I need?
The number of sessions needed will vary depending on the condition of your skin, how well you care for your skin and your treatment goals. Many clients see results instantly with continued improvement over the weeks following. Typically a series of treatments may be required for optimum results. Initially, you can receive treatments tw0 or three times a week with only 48 hours between sessions.
Who should avoid Jet Plasma treatments?
Avoid Jet Plasma if any of the following apply to you.

You have a pacemaker.

You are pregnant.

You are hypersensitive.

You have cancerous lesions

You have an implanted neurostimulator.

You have any electrical implanted device or implanted slow medication release system.

You are actively receiving chemotherapy or radiation (*must wait until six months after last cancer treatment)

If either you or your practitioner are in doubt, a letter of clearance may be requested from your doctor.
